The constitutive heterochromatin (CH) observed in the pericentromeric regions of the majority of the chromosome pairs. The Ag-NORs revealed by 18S rDNA sites and CMA3 staining were located on the long arm of pairs 9 and 10, and on the short arm of pair 11.
